At Core Building Co., we take pride in delivering homes built with integrity, attention to detail, and expert craftsmanship. While no home is without minor imperfections, your new Core home is protected by a One-Year Limited Warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship outside of routine homeowner maintenance. You received a copy of our warranty guide and performance standards during your New Home Orientation—please review this information to fully understand what is and isn’t covered.

how to submit a warranty request

To initiate a warranty claim, please complete the form below with detailed information regarding the issue. After submission:

- You will receive a confirmation email from our team within 48 business hours.
- If your request is submitted over a weekend or holiday, expect a response within 48 hours of the next business day.
- All warranty requests are reviewed weekly by our Internal Warranty Committee.
- Approved items will be addressed in accordance with the timelines specified in your warranty documentation.

*Important:* A person over the age of 18 must be present during any scheduled warranty appointments.

Emergency warranty issues

For true life-safety emergencies, please call our office directly at 208-447-3792. Emergencies include:

- Total loss of heat during winter
- Total loss of air conditioning during summer
- Active plumbing leaks requiring water shut-off
- Suspected gas leaks (also contact your gas provider)

*Please Note:* During your Home Orientation, our team demonstrates how and where to shutoff water and gas valves. All homeowners should know how to do this in case of emergency.
We aim to respond to emergency calls within one hour during business hours. You may also find direct contact info for some contractors on equipment labels (e.g., furnace or water heater).

what's covered under warranty?

Warranty claims may be submitted for items involving construction defects or failures in materials or workmanship that are not the result of homeowner neglect or routine maintenance. Examples of non-covered issues include:

- Replacing furnace filters or burned-out bulbs
- Cosmetic damage caused after move-in
- Natural wear from seasonal changes
- Damage due to lack of routine care

Not sure if your concern qualifies? We’re happy to review your request and provide clarification—even if it falls outside the warranty period.
